We are sad to announce that John Nye, our Membership and Finances Manager died on 20th February while in hospital. He will be greatly missed by all of us Remembering John Nye For many members of The Reiki Association their contact with John Nye will have been through membership applications and renewals.  Others will have benefited from hearing him play his beloved Native American flutes and leading a ceremony at one of our Reiki gatherings.

John spent time as an internal audit manager in large organisations, was a teacher of business studies, ran his own consultancy business and worked as a charity adviser.  He had a masters degree in Organisational Behaviour (psychology) from Oxford University. He discovered Reiki in 2004 and trained as a master with Hjalmar Jonsson, completing his training in 2008. He found Reiki helped him deal with insomnia, SAD and depression. We are grateful to John for his dedication and commitment to The Reiki Association.  He will be sadly missed.
