End Date: 20 September 2026 14:00
Duration: 12 hours
Description:
A workshop for Reiki students
For any existing Reiki students and practitioners, of all levels, who are wanting to gain tips, knowledge and confidence for if or when the time comes to call on Reiki to better support themselves and their loved ones/people in their care…
The aims of this workshop are
- to open up conversations about death and dying in a Reiki held space of gentleness, lightness, and even some humour – along with practical tips and useful advice throughout the weekend
- to build confidence with using Reiki for ourselves and our loved one/s in any setting – exploring when it’s appropriate and when to focus on self care as a fundamental for supporting others
- to empower and prepare individuals – through knowledge, experience and community – in the hopes of reducing any fear, confusion or overwhelm when we can feel in the dark about our options and what to expect
- to raise awareness of end of life services and provide some practical tips and knowledge drawing from accredited death education training and Soul Midwifery – with guest speakers and educators
- to offer an introduction to some key homeopathic remedies, Bach Flower and Australian Bush essences to support ourselves as carers and to soothe symptoms for the dying person
