The membership year runs for 12 months from the month you join. It is important to understand the Conditions of Membership [link] before signing up.
1 To qualify for this discounted rate, please ensure that in your sign up/profile details: - you have ticked the statement that you are part of a Joint/Group membership. - you state the name of the member who has paid their subscription at the full rate. - you state the preferred address for all mailings. 2 To be eligible for this rate you need to be one of the following at the time of payment, and for the majority of the subscription period: EITHER ~ over the age to qualify for a state pension AND on low income/pension credits. . . . OR ~ receiving state benefits and not working due to ill health, disability, or unemployment. . . . OR ~ registered disabled. . . . OR ~ registered as a full time student. The Reiki Association is a ‘not-for-profit’ association operating for the benefit of its members, and to facilitate and nurture the understanding and practice of Reiki.
When you apply to become a member of The Reiki Association you are applying to become a member of a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital. As such you will be eligible to vote at general meetings on matters affecting its operation and business.
