Some people are given their Reiki lineage details by their Reiki Master, but sometimes these can be incomplete or confused. Others were not given any details and were not aware of the importance of asking form them. Knowing your lineage has become more important recently because it is a required part of the Reiki National Occupational Standards (NOS) and therefore required for verification and registration for professional practice in partnership with Reiki Council, and for registration with the CNHC.
The Lineage Tracing Service therefore serves two purposes, firstly to verify Reiki lineage for those who wish to apply for verification as a practitioner, and secondly to help people trace a lineage when its not known or there is a question about it’s accuracy.
Some people may find that knowing their Reiki lineage increases their sense of connection, and this can be a very deep spiritual experience. To know your lineage is to feel part of what has gone before. It provides a solid base for your Reiki practice abd gives you a connection to the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui
Our service to help trace lineage is available to TRA members for £30, and non-members for £50.
This service is mainly for people with Reiki based in the UK. There are too many varied lineages worldwide for us to be able to assist with these.
